Mariquita, ladybird in Spanish, is probably the last 19 MJI. Recognized as the most beautiful of the great yachts in the years following the First World War, decommissioned in the 1930s, Mariquita spent over 30 years on the Suffolk coast as a houseboat. She was restored in 1991 and has been sailing since then to the greatest delight of everyone at the summer regattas in the Mediterranean.
