Kéréon lighthouse, between Ouessant and Molène islands, was built from 1907 to 1916. With the Jument lighthouse, it marks the Fromveur passage, in the Iroise Sea. The two keepers were too many to ensure safety in this particularly violent sea where the currents are extremely powerful.
