The Héaux de Bréhat lighthouse, Brittany
Learn more about photography
Built on the reefs of the Epées de Tréguier, it is the oldest French lighthouse at sea, after the Four lighthouse. Partially destroyed by the Germans in August 1944, it will be rebuilt very quickly, and will even gain a little height since it exceeds the Four lighthouse by 30 meters, reaching 57 meters. It was classified as a Historic Monument in 2011.
