On Bananec Island, you will find the largest sailing school in Europe: Les Glénans. The Glénan archipelago, in Finistère south of Fouesnant, is composed of 9 main islands and numerous islets. On this aerial photo by Philip Plisson, you can see the island of Saint Nicolas, the island of Bananec, Fort Cigogne, and the island of Drenec as well as the famous anchorage called "la chambre" (the room).
