Pilgrimage to Mont-Saint-Michel - Normandy
Learn more about photography
The Mount and its bay have been listed as UNESCO World Heritage since 1979. The Saint Michel procession was a pilgrimage accomplished by most of the kings of France, until the end of the 16th century. Today, the tradition is perpetuated on Saint Michel's Day. At low tide, when the pilgrims head in procession towards the Mount, there is still enough water on the sand for a set of mirrors to take shape on the bay colored with blue. A great way to meet the Mont!
